PRIVACY POLICY

Last updated: May 4, 2026

Iwill ("we," "our," "us") is a social app where users publicly declare who gets their stuff when they're gone. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Iwill is operated by Bobby Carnevale as a sole proprietor.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT

When you sign up for Iwill using Google sign-in, we receive your email address, your name, and your Google profile picture. These are provided to us by Google through the standard OAuth sign-in flow.

When you use Iwill, we also collect content you create on the platform: the items you "will" to others, the recipients you tag, tags or descriptions you add, reactions you give to other users' wills, and any contests or comments you make. We collect basic usage data like the time you signed up, the time of your last login, and similar account activity.

We do not collect your physical location, phone number, payment information, or any other sensitive personal data.

HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

We use your data to operate Iwill — to create and maintain your account, display your wills and reactions on the public feed, connect you with other users you've tagged or who follow you, and keep the service running and secure. We may also use it to communicate with you about your account or significant changes to the service.

We don't sell your data. We don't share it with advertisers. We don't use it to train AI models. If that ever changes, we'll update this policy and tell you before the change takes effect.

WHAT'S PUBLIC AND WHAT ISN'T

Iwill is a public social platform by design. Your name, profile picture, the wills you create, the people you tag in them, and your reactions and contests on other users' wills are visible to other users of the app and may be visible to anyone on the internet. Don't put anything in a will that you wouldn't want shared publicly.

Your email address is not displayed publicly. It is used for account login and account-related communications only.

THIRD PARTIES WE WORK WITH

To run Iwill, we rely on a small number of trusted service providers. Google handles authentication when you sign in. Vercel hosts the application. Supabase stores your account and content data. These providers process your data only on our behalf and under their own privacy commitments. We do not share your data with anyone else.

DATA RETENTION

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or request deletion, we'll remove your personal information from our systems within a reasonable timeframe, except where we're required to keep certain records by law. Backups may take longer to fully clear.

YOUR RIGHTS

You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct inaccurate information, or ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing rjcarnevale@gmail.com. If you live in California, the EU, the UK, or another region with specific privacy laws, you may have additional rights under those laws — reach out and we'll help.

AGE REQUIREMENT

Iwill is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we'll remove it.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this policy as Iwill evolves. If we make significant changes, we'll update the "last updated" date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email.
